Catching up!

Ok I can't even remember what day of the challenge it is! haha!
But yesterday was the freezer, and today is the spice cabinet.
So I did both this morning.
I spent yesterday sewing all day!
I made myself a snow hat, one for my husband.
I sewed up my snow pants
they had a big whole on the bum area because last time I was sledding I hit a ramp and flew into the air, came down onto a rock which spliced my pants open and gave me a nice raspberry and scraped tushy! Ouch!
Then my husband and I opened the door to our van and it smelled horrific!
Thought it was the dirty diaper in there but no!!
the smell did not go away even after the diaper was gone.
We discovered my daughter peed in her carseat, which we thought was spilled water from her thermos. Long story short, I washed the covers on both carseats, one shredded at every strap hole area, the second one the elastic gave out. So I sewed both of those.
Oh and I made myself a pair of pj pants! phew....no time to clean the freezer!

So here we go....

My hubby will be so pleased because he's always asking where the salt and pepper are!
I used the little baskets from Big Lots but now I need to go buy more because those were for one of my kitchen drawers

In love with baskets and organizing!

What a change on your spices and freezer. Great work! I plan to take after pics of all 21 challenges and kind of update/check in on the state of affairs. A few of my re-organizations have been tweaked since the reveal and I want to document how I'm living with it and what's working, what's not, etc. I'm thinking maybe Groundhog day may be appropriate for this....won't you please join me for the re-cap on 2/2/11?

Great job on the challenges! I've never heard of a food saver.
