MIA and a little overwhelmed!

Ok so I really wasn't lying when I said I hadn't figured out a schedule for posting but a month is a little ridiculous! haha! So I haven't really made anything other than diapers for my son, each having their own issues despite having used a pattern. One is too large...in my defense it had started out as a diaper for my daughter, a nighttime diaper. I made it longer and wider because the size large seemed too small on her. Well as I finished it she seemed ready to be potty trained and by golly she was ready. So Bubs inherited the diaper and it is quite a bit too big for him, so we only use it as a night diaper when it is going to be really stuffed with prefolds.

I fixed a few hems, fixed some ribbon on a dress for Munch, printed about a thousand pictures so I could start scrapbooking again. I haven't touched scrapbooking since Munch turned 1 (her 3rd birthday is just around the corner). I haven't done anything with that either. I have a problem.....too many ideas, goals, and not enough time and sometimes not enough energy.

So here are my ideas on what I will be sewing/making by Christmas, some with deadlines much sooner though.......like a 3rd birthday in early November.

1. Camo blanket for Bubs......dad found a camo fleece he loved so I should be able to whip this up during a nap time if the kids cooperate :)

2. Fabric Dollhouse for Munch's Birthday

3. Fabric Barn for Bubs (Christmas)

4. Baby Bassinet/pillow/blanket for Munch's Birthday

5. Halloween Costumes

6. Pettiskirt for Munch's Birthday

7. Crayon Rolls for each of the kids (can skip if time runs out)

8. Bible cover (Christmas)

9. Trivets/coasters (Christmas) (3 sets)

10. pj pants for the kids (as soon as possible, its starting to cool down)

11. Pillow pet for Munch (Christmas)

12. Quilt made from Munch's baby blankets (Christmas)

13. Fabric Mail kits, each of the kids (Christmas)

14. Craft Aprons for my kids, and 3 nephews (Christmas)

15. Dinosaur play mat for both kids (Christmas)

16. Car play mat for Bubs (Christmas)

17. Superhero Cape for Bubs (Christmas)

18. Fleece gloves for boh kids

19. Felt Toolbox for Bubs (Christmas)

20. Finish painting a table and chair set for Munch, and start one for Bubs

21. A wool capelet for Munch (Birthday)

So literally almost 40 pieces of work......can I do it? I better start sewing!!

Oh and I will have a new toy soon!! A Serger!!!!!! It should arrive on Sept 1st. I am so excited!
